Live Wholly Festival | Wholly Guacamole

After a summer traveling across American music centers for the Live Wholly Tour, the tour ended at the Live Wholly Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah.  In a close competition between the 6 finalists online, the winner was.....(drumroll please)...Brad Blackburn from Nashville, TN. Winning the Nashville open mic night at the iconic Bluebird Café, Brad Blackburn has been writing music since he was 12 years old and moved to Nashville from San Antonio, TX to study music at Belmont University. Brad was awarded the $10,000 cash prize, but was also given the opportunity to perform and open for the festival headlining act Cold War Kids. The day was filled with music, food, and of course, lots and lots of guacamole. After getting to meet so many great musicians from different backgrounds, it was difficult to pick a favorite.  With the support of Wholly Guacamole, Fast Horse, and a great film crew, it was fun to lend a helping hand to these unknown musicians in what can be the most challenging part of their careers.  I look forward to seeing not only Brad's journey, but all the musicians we encountered as they pursue their passion. Be sure to check out Brad's story as well as the other finalists we profiled here.
