When you take two guys, a ping pong table, numerous cameras in the air and on the ground, add in some of Minneapolis' most talented people; you come out with a recipe for a killer project. Flip the camera around and you have an equally interesting story of the busy and collaborative machine that created the "Adidas: Head to Head" spec project by Jonathan Chapman, shot in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I am excited to share the latest episode of the Behind the Lens series, which shows an in-depth glimpse into life on set of the shoot, as well as the key developments in post-production through editing, music and sound design. Collaboration has never been more of a key element in the creative industry, and it was great to feature and work with some of the Twin Cities' heavyweight's. Keep an eye out for interviews with some familiar faces, including yours truly...
It is often overlooked how much man power goes into making a project of this scale and it is great to see the interest people take with the Behind The Lens series. Quite often, the interest outweighs the final product itself. It was great to get together with the crew after the project was completed for a first screening which is featured in the episode.
I shot and edited the episode, along with some additional footage from Bill Hickey and Josh Becker. Big thank you to the team at Egg Music who tailored the music track used for this episode. Check out previous Behind The Lens episodes for Samsung and The Minnesota Twins.
